What you do not account for is VMD was spun out but PTQ took all the debt and bad receivables which were substantial. They also took on the weakest of the businesses acquired under the initial PHM roll up hence the recent $4.5M divestiture. Then before they could get into high gear they had to realign the product mix and dumped the lowest margin lines which although a strategically a positive move reflected poorly in revenue numbers essentially cutting revenue by 30%. They have since made up for that lost revenue and margins are steadily on the rise. So at the time VMD was executing their plan PTQ was still cleaning up the balance sheet. VMD on the other hand hit the dirt with a clean slate. That is the primary difference. VMD also has only 40M shares outstanding whereas PTQ has 84M shares.
