RE:RE:RE:RE:Short termCanopy- Yes with over capacity built in. Presumably by the Constellation people. Might explain the tight lips in regards to the "handling the pot" hitch that has been throwing a bad light on the TSE and VSE and we don't want to stir up the US Feds that might want to throw a wrench in the deal.
Tinley has over capacity built into their bottling facility too which could suggest a reciprocal deal for Canopy products in California when they can do it legally.
Tinley has come a long way in about 5 years in California and those formulations are not slapped together shyt like some have done but market tested and tweaked to be branded products.
If Canopy's bottling facility is built and cleared to go, do they have formulations developed yet for running their own product or would they be looking to utilize that facility for a return on investment, with somebody (think Tinley) who are ready to go with 5 products. Canadian politicians are getting forced into writing these regulations and laws and probably have the anchor out with licensing and inspections just like happened in California. Jeff has mentioned deals pending on the original plan for co-bottlers that could be supplied with expertise and some financing. He has also had enough of a lead to get a crop of the specific type of marijuana or hemp grown and cracked into oil so that our products are consistent in effect and flavour because I doubt that we will be bringing our own oil from California. Tinley's new facility is offering formulation services when we get the go signal so historical and traditional syrup sales to co-bottlers for rapid expansion. Canopy could already have our crop of our strain and genetics grown and ready to add to our syrup. Tinley's launch in Canada could be quicker than happened in California because we can centrally bottle and transport across provincial lines. Canada's licensed stores are already screaming for compliant products for phase 2 edibles and that rollout will be slow because they can just now, legally start their formulations.
Tinley got a headstart and time to tweak their formulations in California so are well ahead of most competition. There are no restrictions on IP crossing borders that I am aware of. glta and dyodd
