Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:RE:RE:Shorter watch out!!!
1) I think Irwin is trying to scare the shorts away. I think he must know that 1 billion in Canada alone is still at least a few years away, but even missing that target by 200-300 million would still be impressive for our low cap, so I don't think he's worried. 2) I don't think Aphria would come anywhere close to exporting that much weed to the EU. The export numbers are currently pretty small across the industry so I'd be very happy if we were able to add another 50-100 million a year exporting in the next few years. 3) I'd consider exports from Canadian grown weed to count as Canadian sales. I'm very much looking forward to how big we'll get in Germany though. Huge potential there in the next 5 years.
