Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:RE:RE:Rationale for Shorting until Jan 2020

RE:RE:RE:Rationale for Shorting until Jan 2020So you are counting on tax loss for the stock to go down? Not very smart. There will no major LP casualties for a long time pal, and if there is it will be a small LP that has no bearing on this stock. Ever think a surprise to the upside is coming? Rather than relying on the Wall Street shorts who know nothing about cannabis. You also completley dismiss the fact the interest to short this thing will be 40-50% if it falls anymore.

CannabisRealist wrote: You are correct APHA is undervalued with its book value and cash on hand HOWEVER short term (3 months) there will be capitulation of retail on margin and tax strategy so it is a unique window of opportunity. The market is efficient for value EVENTUALLY next year but this years downtrend has yet to run its course to the bottom. A few more LP casualties will be the culmination. Canntrust was not the last. A surprise is coming for downside according to street talk that's why the shorters are hammering every rally. After the last 2 good ER's from Apha the price would have been $ 11.00 but there was too many putts and shorters taken advantage. Sorry but this is a nasty game of who takes home the cash.
