Paid promoters..
..have taken over this board.  Or maybe it's just one poster, with a lot of time on his hands.  Their task is to generate interest from naive investors so their sponsors can unload their shares at current ridiculously inflated prices.  Don't say you weren't warned.

Facts anyone? Bambari is still a war zone
I know this board is an insane asylum, and practically impossible to read for anybody actually seeking information.  But just in case anybody is interested, here is an objective report on the recent fighting in Bambari:

https://thedefensepost.com/2019/01/10/portugal-paratroopers-5-hour-firefight-upc-bambari-central-african-republic/

The twisters and the twisted are claiming this means the rebels have been defeated and there is now peace in Bamari, but of course it merely confirms that the war is ongoing with no end in sight.  (Ever heard of regroup and counter-attack?)

It's true that things are getting worse in Burkina Faso, Mali and some other countries, and that will unfortunately put the brakes on exploration activities in certain areas.  But CAR is much worse, which is why the exploration companies don't even come near.  (The mining companies are more objective and informed about security risks than most people on SH boards.)

As others have pointed out (only to be shouted down by the nutcases), AXM has not had access to the property for years, and nobody knows if and when they will, in spite of all the hopeful words about peace and development.

Concerning AXM's proposed split of the royalty and (dreamed) mining businesses, this makes perfect sense to management and insiders who own the majority of shares.  They want to find a way to enjoy a modest income from the TGZ royalties, while putting the debt and the unlikely dream of mining in CAR into another vehicle that will attract the insane investors and transfer the risk to them.

Maybe one good thing about this SH board, is that for some reason it has attracted a high proportion of the nutcases who need to post several times a day, allowing for relative calm on other boards.

RE:RE:UN To set up Temporary Base in Bakouma

air support from France = more evidence that this is WAR with no end in sight.

Did you even notice that most of the article was about Mali, where French air support has been active since 2013, meanwhile the civil war and terror attacks continue?  (I was in NDjamena at the time, watching the French jets taking off daily for missions over Mali.)

Don't get me wrong, I am hoping for peace in Mali, CAR and all the other places where ordinary people are suffering due to armed conflict caused by brutal egomaniacs.  But I am not betting my money that somebody is going to build a mine in the middle of a war zone, either in Mali or in CAR.

RE:CAR Government Officials Have Left From Sudan Peace Talks

Maybe you were so excited you didn't read the last sentence in that article:

"This reconciliation dialogue is the umpteenth effort aimed at ending the conflict which has plagued CAR since 2013."

But of course it will be different this time, if you wish hard enough.

RE:TAKE THE LIE AND SPAM AWAY SHOULD BE A FIVE CENT STOCK AGAIN

Slammer is absolutely right, this mine project has zero chance of happening in the foreseeable future.  I have been following AXM off and on from the time that it was a real project, and the situation today is a totally different world.

Maybe I should congratulate the pumpers for successfully driving up the share price for as long as they did based on nonsense and lies.  But as slammer says, it's over now.

By the way, a 5 cent share price would be way too generous.

RE:FACA just secured Bria, big news for CAR

What some people are calling peace is just another phase of an ongoing war.

There they go..
..woof woof, peeing on bushes to mark their territory.  Well you can have your AXM territory, I don't want it at any price.  THERE IS NO JOINT VENTURE AND THERE WILL NOT BE ANY.  Argue and shout and throw insults and tell lies as much as you like, time will tell.

https://www.africanews.com/2019/09/29/car-minusca-starts-military-operation-against-armed-group-in-car/

As I said, it's ongoing war.  Between government and armed groups; between armed groups; between UN and armed groups..  Anything could happen anywhere.  There is no chance of even reaching the site to survey the damage.  And AXM no longer holds the rights to the site anyway (check the SEDAR reports for confirmation of this).  Anybody investing in this company as if it had a real mining project is completely nuts.  We are not talking about 'risk' here, we are talking about a certainty that there will be no mine for as long as the broke little company called AXM exists.  But I do understand that some people are investing in AXM as a previously successful pump job, which is their own choice.  Good luck.

(I know, a post like this will make the AXM guard dogs bark even louder - just hold your ears.)

RE:Approvals

Fun, that message is 100% consistent with the information in the last quarterly report, which states clearly that the company's licences have not been extended this year, meaning they no longer have any rights to the property.  The government could decide to reassign the property to the Russians, or to nobody while they examine all their options.

I understand why the company is reluctant to go into details, but a more transparent type of company would spell out what 'approvals' they are missing.

RE:Information From The Last MD&A About Mineral Claims

Miningmaster, if you want to know the status of the mining permit, you have to read the whole section, line by line, until you reach the present time.  The section you quoted about Passendro tells what the status was in 2010, not what it is in October 2019.  Please look for and read the following quotes:

"On November 28, 2016, the Minister of Mines, Energy and Hydraulics of the CAR issued Ministerial Order No 245/16/MMEH/DIRCAB/DGMD, giving an Exemption Certificate of one (1) year to start the development and pre-production work at the Passendro Gold Project to SOMIO Toungou SA, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company. The period of the Exemption is valid within duration of one (1) year starting from November 28, 2016 to November 27, 2017."

"On March 26, 2018, the Minister of Mining and Geology issued an executive order No 031/18/MMG/DIRCAB/DGM to grant SOMIO Toungou an extension period of exemption from the development work and productions of the Passendro gold mine for one (1) year, running from March 22, 2018 to March 21, 2019."

You have to remember that every permit comes with a long list of conditions, and if those conditions are not met, the rights can be lost or withdrawn.  In order to keep its permit for Passendro, AXM had to start development work by a certain date, which they failed to do.  The government has already granted two extensions of one year, the second one of which expired last March.  No further extension has been granted, and the government is under no obligation to grant such an extension.  AXM can argue, negotiate, bribe etc, but the government alone has the power to give more extensions to AXM, or to sell the permit to the highest bidder, or give it away to its close friends or whatever.

And once again quoting from the financial report concerning the expired extensions (on both the mining and exploration permits):

"As of the date of this report, management is unable to determine when the Minister of Mining and Geology will approve the renewal applications submitted for the Exemption Certificates and there is no assurance that the Company will be successful in obtaining the renewal of the Exemption Certificates."

Believe whatever you want to believe, but I see no evidence that AXM holds any legal rights to Passendro in October 2019.  And there is not even a hint of a positive sign that the government will hand them back those rights.
