You can call this number to verify my statements - 1.713.577.1948 (right on the website)
Summary:
- Natural gas traces were found, but it seemed to have moved to another spot over time. Although this is not an economic well, this can help delineate the new two wells which are 100% being drilled, but could be in new locations. So it wasn't a total waste as it gives lots of new details to NAFTA and KUB. Again, this cost Cub Energy ZERO and in fact made the lease somewhat more valuable because now there's actual data to go with things. Next well will likely be drilled in December.
- Eastern well will be drilled in December as well. JV is verifying a location and the M well is being drilled in a producing area, so odds should be better since it's not a virgin lease with no history. KUB gets 35% of this well and of course pays that. But this is a new well, not a recompleted one. So if recompleted wells were getting 50-250boed, this should be much better
- NRU is still being worked on, despite some people on here trying to lie and convince people that it's not. Process is slow, but advancing
- Q3 results will be out in November
Facts from last financials:
Company has close to $10 million CAD in cash or $0.03, and just under 900boed in production and out of the last 6 quarters has earned close to $4 million USD.
Thoughts
Anyone selling on a non producing free well does not understand the situation here and there's a lot more at play than just a one trick revenue stream from a JV partner.
News articles out there are showing that Naftogas is raising prices next month and there is still no deal with the Russians, meaning natural gas prices will likely spike in the new year.
