So I think it could be possible that Trudeau will do some favorible moves in the energy sector. If he needs votes to pass a budget he could dangle some energy carrots that the Alberta conservatives will bite on. Trudeau needs some help from other parties to keep going so lets hope that at least the Albert cons will work with him and get some pro oil and gas decisions passed in exchange for supporting the Libs minority gov. Right now it looks like Canadian energy stocks had already priced in the election results.
