Trudeau to Albertans: "I’ve heard your frustration"

Trudeau to Albertans: "I’ve heard your frustration"
It seems that Liberals get the message.

"The Conservative party has taken Alberta almost entirely back to blue amid frustrations over pipeline construction and federal oil and gas policy, as the Liberal party lost all of the gains it made in Alberta in 2015.

In his federal election victory speech Monday night, Justin Trudeau called out for unity.

To Canadians in Alberta ... I’ve heard your frustration. Let’s all work hard to bring our country together,” Trudeau said.

"At Kent Hehr’s election night event in Calgary Centre, Liberal supporters cheered as candidates won their seats in other provinces, but that moment never came for Hehr. Shortly after 9 p.m., Hehr’s campaign team said the Liberal candidate had conceded to Conservative challenger Greg McLean.

“At the end of the day, it’s my voters who didn’t send me back to Ottawa,” he said, adding that the state of the electoral map sent a clear message to the Liberal party.

I think there is  frustration out there on the Trans Mountain pipeline. There is frustration on how the economy is going. And simply put, it was a difficult election for anyone in Saskatchewan or Alberta. The voters spoke and they sent Conservatives to go support them.”
