RE:Is Beckett's a way for I was thinking something along those lines rc12345, but I didn't want to touch too much on this because the Alex Jones conspiracy comparisons are one post away for me, hahaha.
Beckett's website. They seem to be a private company, but did anybody look to see who may be founders of Beckett's etc, & what if any connections they have to Diageo,
who like Beckett's GIN is primarily based in London. Diageo keeps an eye on cannabis.
Ivan Menezes said the company could not rule out following suit of Constellation Brands, depending on how the market develops for cannabis, which is legal in Canada and some US states.
“On cannabis we’re just tracking it, it’s at a very early stage,” said Menezes, who has been at Diageo since 1997. “We’re looking at the sector, it’s nascent and we just want to understand the consumer behaviour.”

The above news release is just an example of ONE company who may do something similar to STZ. Not to say it will be Tinley, obviously still Federally illegal "in the U.S," but that will change, and when it does people lobbying the Gov will know "way before you."
Beckett's being a private company wouldn't have the same fears of the Law & delisting because they're not a public company.... And if Diageo had some connections to Beckett's it would be a great way to keep an eye on the cannabis space & take their first nibble... And one more thing slant, why in the world do you think our management isn't capable of securing a deal with a Major LP? Canopy or not, does it make a difference, and if so who does it make a difference to? Consumers will be getting Tinley's products in Canada, and Tinley will be expanding their Global Brand, regardless if it's Canopy or not.
You keep saying these "speculations" are not realistic slant, but why?
Rick Gillis has the most impressive record in the entire Cannabis industry, or at least he's in the Top Five,
and personally I would include Mark Benadiba who worked with Cott for 28 years in that list as well, my opinion only. Why wouldn't management of this pedigree be able to secure a deal with Canopy when BevMo! revenues were larger than the entire cannabis market last year & we secured a deal with them?
"By waiting for 2.0 for news to drop, you're just setting another unrealistic expectation and putting an artificial deadline on it. Like I said before, I am long Tinley. I believe in the company, but I don't believe that we are on the same level when it comes to expectations. If something is going to happen, it will be on the US side first based on geographic area and the fact that they have facilities in LB. They might farm out IP to an LP, but I don't think you're going to see a Tinley facility in Canada any time soon."
Who said we were building a facility in Canada? You? LOL!
FTMIG interview where Jeff Maser is asked about Canopy. In this interview Jeff said out of his own mouth that Canpoy is the kind of LP they'd be looking to partner with.... So check yourself at the door during the AGM if you're talking to me... I'll be at the AGM & i wont even be there,
like a fly on the wall!
