The USA can now import Lumber cheaper from Russia than they can from Canada. Yep, but that will end as soon as the "stable genius" down south is shown the door.  

  If you have heard that before you should then know the US  importing lumber from Russia began under Obama in 2012 and has continued ever since.  

So your it will stop when Trump leaves office is very ill informed.   It is  telling  your are not in business connected to the lumber industry.    The industry is closing mills due to resource overcut.   AAC's are being reduced so there is not the volume there once was.  It will take 40 or more years before the serious harvesting of early replanted blocks comes into play.     You can get an glimpse into reality if you look over BC's interior with Google Earth
 Already logged blocks are pretty plain to see like a patchwork quilt
  

 New Zealand planted pine harvest is 20 to 30 years,  In Canada it can be 60 or more depending on how far north.       Research helps
