RE:Why is it that deliveries are always back-end loaded?

RE:Why is it that deliveries are always back-end loaded?Aerospace industry is very small. As you know AB owns the company which provides fuselage for Global 7500, Mitsubishi makes some parts for Global jets. Bombardier makes nacelles for AB etc etc. The point is aerospace industry is intertwined. And there is a hierarchy AB and BA are the big dogs and has buying power so all the 2nd and 3rd tier suppliers fill AB and BA orders first. Then you get the next high volume customers who get their orders filled. That would be the c series and e2 assembly line. It all trickles down from high volume to low volume. Bombardier is in a bind as they have the backlog but its products are low volume. To top it off some of the bombadier suppliers didnt think bombardier wont make it (few years back) and delayed puting bombardier order on the line. Now bombardier suppliers know that bombardier is serious and now are slowly catching up with the order. Also AB and BA orders are filled first and then bombardier. This goes for every month, every quarter commits. Hope this help explain it.
