You're correct.  Profit is the money earned after deducting expenses.  The challenge is that the numbers released were for specific stores, and stores only.  When you add in the additional Admin/Marketing costs of the company (outside of the stores), the ink quickly turns to red.  

There's been a lot of posters who have brought this up in the past 6 months, but there is a ridiculous amount of unneccessary overhead Admin costs (Managers upon Managers, and Executives overtop those Managers).  Look at Westleaf's website and the "About Us".  There's 22 people listed on their Management Team.

3 retail stores (and a handful of planned future stores) and there's a requirement for a Vice President of Real Estate?  Is that a joke?
