Ogod- Ever since you first started posting here you have been bashing AOI.  If the deal was so bad, then why would Vitol have pursued it to begin with?  While we don't know the reasons, yet, I will take a stab at it.

Vitol has and is a constant source of supposed underhanded corruption, especially in Brazil and Nigeria.  Maybe, this was the hold up all along?

Then you have Delonex, which was funded with $600 million many years ago and while private, I expect that they may have fallen short to pick up part of Vitol's failure.

That may have left AOI with an opportunity to knock them out of the game! Just screw everyone and all the millions that were already spent by Vitol and Delonex in legal transaction fees!

In other words, WE GOT THIS!, we got the cash and the Lundins Billions, and the assets t to come up with another measly $250 million and still have enough cash to cover our nut for more than the next year! MoFo!!!!
