Employee costs

Employee costs

Excellent summary by MW. You must have worked for company.

Torstar is now at 3000 employees making 73000 a year for total cost of $219 million on a revenue base of $550 million which is 40percent of total revenue.

financial post by comparison
$676 million in revenue. $242 million in salaries or 35 percent of revenue

so looks like Torstar can cut another 5 percent or $27.5 million.

Cut once and cut fast. The slow death by a 1000 cuts is not working.

looking for reason to buy in.
