Tidewater posting Daily rack prices in Vancouver on website
I am confused. Why are they not posting the price in Prince George where the refinery is? Shell and Petro-Canada post their rack pricing online for all Canadian markets including Prince George. The Prince George prices are significantly lower than Vancouver's.
It is my opinion that Tidewater is not going to develop their 600 acres of industrial property in Edmonton. They should lease it out like Stelco does with their land package in Hamilton which is adjacent to a harbour.(See article:"Stelco the landlord sees big bucks in leasing out surplus industrial land")The Tidewater property is adjacent to a river and a petrochemical plant will never be built there.Inter Pipeline is currently building the Heartland Petrochemical Complex. However,I was not surprised that Joel was day dreaming about petro chemicals during the conference call. lol
I am expecting a FID on Pipestone 2 to be announced as earnings are released,A delay would be inconsequential.
