RE:How?its unfortunate that share structure is so tight in this one particular instance, but if we want to get conspiratorial, why wouldn't someone manipulate the share price to help get his friends/buddies all in at lower multiples? I'm sure there are kickbacks as well for the right arrangements... if he really needed the cash then its just bad luck, long term it really doesnt matter though, more retail and institutional should see this and buy low...tbh
