RE:o/t: Has anyone filed a patent yet on direct About 15 years or so ago, Microsoft Corporation filed a patent on the human nervous system to be used as a conduit for data transfer. That's so cumbersome, imagine being in a geostationary orbit and inputting directly into the human brain any input your imagination can think of. Developing a technology like that and overnight you could control the entire world's population. Here's an example of an article that popped out today....reading brain activity is no big deal, old news, inputting brain activity for a desired outcome, now that's much more potent technology. How potent...you drive off the edge of a cliff thinking you're still driving on the road...shutting down a person's mind to the actual reality and inputting an alternate reality into the mind. Don't laugh, I've been a guinea pig for that on two occassions, and it really works just so the point could be proven to me. What's the saying..."reality is perception"...but perception is generated by the human mind.
Scientists have used a modified bike helmet to create a device that can monitor brain activity in children in realtime.
The technology may eventually be used on patients with neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism and epilepsy, they reported Tuesday in Nature Communications.
