RE:RE:Earnings out

RE:RE:Earnings outWell, I ended up selling 1800 of my 2400 shares.

sold a small portion at yesterday's close $20.08
sold 1400 today at $21.30.

my target price to sell was $20.79 so safe to say I was thrilled with the open.

i have owned too much AD for my liking since Fall 2017.

always trying to average down or time market to try and get back to break even on capital.  Seemed to only dig a deeper hole.

at Dec-31 last year in my TFSA only I was down $4300 on only 1000 shares.

so with today's sale I plan to only hold 200 shares each in each of my TFSA and RESP.  If it drops as I suspect it will I will add 200 shares again to my RRSP.

im going to be disciplined and not let my share count balloon to close to 3,000 again, as any unexpected news releases cause the stock to plummet more than necessary and then it's a slow climb back up.

in my TFSA only after today I've made possibly $600 of gains in capital and currently my ACB IS $20.70 or so.  But since I've held AD with varying degrees of share count I've reaped the benefits of their nice high yield - $3,472.50 of dividends!

so I exit a large position of my AD holdings and I continue to wish all AD longs the best of luck with this stock.  I like this stock and hope the share price keeps rising even if it means I've missed out on potential gains.

My decision to sell most of my shares today is not a knock against AD simply I held too many shares for my liking and I'm taking this time to exit finally above the break even line.

thanks for reading and glta!
