RE:RE:RE:RE:Quick Rule 36 Decision on Polaris Patents vs KingstonJust nice to see some positive developments in what has been a very risky IP space since the AIA was introduced. Hopefully the pendulum is swinging back and QTRH benefits from their perservance.
One question I have is whether things will swing back negative if the US political landscape changes in 2020. Will former PTO Director Lee get her job back or someone just like her? Scary thought.
If you have time to listen to the Nov 4th oral argument, I thought Matthew Powers was impressive and represented Polaris extremely well. Worth a listen.
