RE:RE:YDX keeps performing.....There's no love for small caps, let alone micro caps, especially in the Canadian market.
This can be seen buy the overall performance of the Venture exchange vs. something like the Nasdaq.
Despite what Justin Trudeau and Bill Morneau state about Canada's investment climate, investment dollars continue to flow to the US where there is a much friendlier environment for capital, small business and overall investment.
In today's market, investing in small and micro cap companies in Canada requires a bit of a leap of faith. I've taken a very small position in YDX as I like what I see and I believe there is a future in VR and AR, however this position will stay small until either substantial revenue is posted by YDX and there is improved technical performance in its stock price.
However, the fact that YDX trades at 4 cents, especially after several promising announcements, simply speaks to the horribly pessimistic environment for overall investment in junior companies here in Canada (as witnessed from the Venture Index).
I'd like to say that patience will pay off, but I fear that unless our current Liberals can inject some confidence about investing in Canada, then this may very well be a lost decade for Canadian junior small and micro cap stocks.
Invest accordingly.
