Burnaby Refinery is in a state of crisis

The refinery was shut down completely for the first time in February 2018 for 5 weeks.It took 5 years of planning.When it was completed,the CEO said,"This turnaround was a major,one-in 10 year maintenance event....." Here we are 2 years later and the refinery is being completely shut down again.This time for 8 weeks.The following job was just posted 3 months ago:Turnaround Planning Team leader-Burnaby.The refinery supplies 25% of all the gas and diesel used in B.C.
