RE:RE:After looking at the two blobs on the presentation I was The strike length we know of so far is 4,000 meters and I'm using 2250 of that ( North @ 750 meters + South @ 1500 meters )
So using all 4,000 would get us to 13,000,000 Oz. +
The gaps yet to be filled are in between the two blobs running along the fault North/South.
The Hinge is an entirely differant beast in my view so I don't think the two necessarily have much to do with each other or connect.
The Hinge has it's own geometry and appears to run in a North/South direction along the other side of the fault.
Impossible to calculate or even guesstimate what's over there but as we know from the Red Lake complex we could have numerous high grade Hinge like blobs running along that fault.
Pick a number between 5 million and 20 million and no one could criticize you for it.
Then we have the North Fault !!!
This is one you buy for the Great Grandchildren ! captainpooby1 wrote: Goaweigh wrote: wondering how many Oz. those two blobs might contain and so here's my thinking on that.
North Blob: I'm giving dimensions of 750 meters strike x 200 meters thick x 200 meters deep and using gravity of 2.5 @ 1 gram.
Multiply that all up and you get 2,500,000 Oz. in the North Blob
South Blob: I'm giving dimensions of 1500 meters strike x 200 meters thick x 200 meters deep and using gravity of 2.5 @ 1 gram.
Multiply that all up and you get 5,000,000 Oz. in the South Blob.
So there we have 7,500,000 Oz.
It's impossible to accurately calculate the dimensions of those two blobs but I think mine are on the low side and we don't have any idea about average grades, they could be 2 grams or even 3 grams when you factor in the higher grades and then we haven't done any drilling to connect the 2 blobs yet so that's a factor too.
Any way you care to calculate it, looks like there could be plenty of gold in just those two blobs !
While you have your pen and napkin out, can you do a quick estimate of the “gap” between the blobs and the hinge zone? Assume the “gap” is mineralized the same as the blobs.
Thanks!
