RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Just a thought while we wait... I highly doubt these agreements are anything close to the aphria-aleafia deal. The Eve deal seems to be hinged on them getting their full facility license (from what I gather). Then the bulk of the shipments start to take place. That being said, they should have a problem supplying them with the size of the facility EVE has. Aphria bongled the deal because they decided to sell their product to the higher paying customer (the provinces) rather than the low cost supply deal they inked with Emblem. Thinking Aleafia would just accept the fact that they were'nt shipping any product and simply wait for them to do so. APH got greedy, rather than being tactfull and honoring their backdoor deals, and lost a good long term customer to get a quick cash grab.
Brilliant on Aleafia's end, as their supply is ready to come online as well, and why wait for one of the big players to make more money, then ship you what they cant sell in a market that has ample supply when you can sell your own product for even better margins.
Eve might have a hard time competing in the Canadian market considering they're now a little late to the game, but its the Germany deals that will keep them relevant. Melinda needs to start making things happen in prepparation to this site coming online. I know right now they're exploring CPG options in the market, and would like to see them partner with a production company focused on beauty products and differentiate themselves that way. Thats the only area (being female focused) that I can see Eve start to steal some market share.
Any company at this stage of the game that is still building a facility is pretty well dead in the water. Investment money is drying up, and those who arent prepared will start to go belly up. I like that we're ready on the sidelines here, and getting a feel for the operations with the current license facility. And think the market will start to open up more now that the TGOD's, ZENA's, AGRA's and TRST's will slowely start to dissapate. Its nice to have giant dreams, but if your facility aint done yet, youre company will be soon.
