RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:I guess this explains the run up!I hope you are appreciating that share based compensation is given to company mgmt and executives in lieu of cash salary and bonus payments. Those shares are issued in exchange for services rendered. In other words, the shares were issued for valuable consideration. Same applies to shares issued to third party service providers. Your point about shares issued for cash escapes me. Cash is cash, n'cest pas?
In any event, all these shares will converted into MYM at the Exchange Ratio of 10.5 to 1. Yup, a real windfall to have your CROP shares exchanged at $0.0229 per share. Those would be shares you received in exchange for providing services at $1.00/share (using a random hypothetical example).
With respect options, I would refer you to the CROP PR of Nov. 7:
"... (ii) all outstanding options (whether or not vested) to acquire Shares shall, subject to regulatory approval, be exchanged for options of MYM, exercisable to acquire MYM Shares, subject to adjustment of the number of MYM Shares purchasable thereunder AND the exercise price per MYM Share payable thereunder based upon the Exchange Ratio;"
In other words, CROP options that were under water on the announcement date become MYM options that will still be under water.
And don't forget to factor in the income tax implications of company employees exercising stock options and holding onto the shares received. Here is a link to an excellent article that provides a concise layman's explanation of the problem:

Might there be one or more CROP employees faced with this tax dilemma?
