RE:RE:Alberta OK's Frontier Oil Sands Project

RE:RE:Alberta OK's Frontier Oil Sands ProjectI doubt that Teck would go it alone on the Frontier project. They sought a partner for QB2 and got one. Once the cap cost for a single project means that you are betting the company you are far better off to spread the risk.Teck has always been an exploration company much the same as the old Cominco. When the numbers are crunched and the IRR works- then money is always there. Galore creek was available by buying out Nova  and they let Newmont step in. Somethig similar will probably happen at Schaft Creek. Nueva Union has Golcorp as the partner. I am still sure that there are very few miners with the upside of Teck mainly because of consitent proven management that cannot be shoved aside by some hedge fund- thanks to the dual share structure. It makes it tougher on us little guys because ther is never a suitor that wants to make an offer to the A share holders and then have to take out all of the B shares. The analysts keep saying the B shares are under valued and yet with every review it seems when the shares get some traction in the mid 30's the next thing you know instead of continuing to the analyst's target- back we go into the 20's It sure is tough to handle when the facts are ignored and some unknown and unknowable thing rains on our parade.
