That mag map you see is a portion of a large scale regional survey, probably performed by the government, I’m guessing.

The helicopetr mag survey we are currently conducting will be at a much more detailed scale. We’re flying 2100 km at 50 m spacings. Structures (faults, folds), contacts, rock lithology signatures will be more detailed and precise, and could actually be used to accurately plot drill holes to intersect these structures.

At this time of year, it’s an effective, useful use of funds...lots of bang for the buck...and will look pretty on our website!
