Many American workers will be celebrating a three-day weekend because Monday, Nov. 11, is Veterans Day. However, the stock market will be open for business on Monday.

Even though Veterans Day is a federal holiday, traders at the New York Stock Exchange will be working regular hours and will miss New York City's Veterans Day parade. The Nasdaq is also open regular hours on Monday, but the bond market will be closed. Currencies and commodities will also be open for trading.

President Donald Trump has accepted an invitation from the United War Veterans Council to lead the 100th annual Veterans Day parade in New York City. The New York Post reports that President Trump will be the first president to lead New York City's Veterans Day Parade.

President Donald J. Trump will offer a tribute to the men and women who have served our nation during the Opening Ceremony of this year's Centennial New York City Veterans Day Parade, United War Veterans Council Chairman Douglas McGowan announced today.
