RE:RE:RE:Will Glencore allow the price to drop more?Hey Sogo,
Correct me if I am mistaken, but as I read the news release, on November 7th Katanga filed the preliminary short form prospectus with the intention of raising 7.6 Billion CDN.

“ZUG, SWITZERLAND, November 7, 2019 – Katanga Mining Limited (TSX: KAT) ("Katanga" or the "Company") announces today that it has filed a preliminary short form prospectus with securities regulatory authorities in each of the provinces and territories of Canada in respect of an offering of rights ("Rights") to purchase common shares of the Company ("Common Shares") to raise approximately CDN$7.6 billion (the "Rights Offering").”

The Subscription price will represent a 25% discount to the volume weighted average price for the prior five days to the filing of the final short form prospectus. If the final short form prospectus has not been filed, doesn't that mean that the subscription price is yet to be fixed?

“In accordance with the rules of the Toronto Stock Exchange (“TSX”), and as provided in the standby purchase agreement entered into between the Company and Glencore (the “Standby Purchase Agreement”), the subscription price for the Common Shares to be purchased upon exercise of the Rights (the "Subscription Price") will represent a 25 percent discount to the volume weighted average price of Common Shares on the TSX for the five trading days immediately prior to the day the final short form prospectus for the Rights Offering (the "Final Prospectus") is filed.”
