Shorts

ShortsAR has allowed itself to be targeted again and again by shorters who can drop the sp drastically by selling a relatively small number of shares. For example the $34 million or so of AR’s market cap knocked off this Friday was by shorters selling only about 400,000 shares (about $800,000 worth of stock). Why doesn’t management set aside a million or two to buy back their own shares when these attacks happen? Buying $800,00 worth of shares to protect $34 million in market cap seems like a no brainer. And, it’s legal as many companies on the stock market have been doing that for years. If Argonaut doesn’t come up with a strategy along those lines, it’s going to be like one of those skinny kids in school who the bullies continually rough up before they proceed to eat their lunch.
