How is not buying shares at 30% discount not being opportunistic? That's your NAV

if you could buy your neighbours house which is exactly like your for 30% discount isn't that opportunistic?

that Exxon vacancy will be an albatross, it has been listed for lease since early 2019 no takers

2020 will be a watershed moment for them

Funny that you just posted this as I was just about to say the same things.

I think the best quote from the transcript is this:

"But if you compare what we've been able to do through the track record of dispositions and recycling, there's not too much of a difference between the economic impact of those 2 options, be it the buyback or acquiring new assets, and we want to continue to do what we've shown that we are capable of doing in terms of generating returns."

If there is not much difference between NCIB and recycling, then why not take the risk free approach? Follow the money to SLAM...

I love her follow-up questions as to whether SLAM has anything disposition ready to go to a REIT, and the answer is no. SLAM isn't bothering to sell their own assets because they are more worthwhile to keep than to recycle (no commissions for SLAM in the sale!)
