RE:RE:Strip Mining Pilbara TX If you study my posts you will note that I have consistently said that Novo have not yet found any gold full stop not already delineated by prospectors with metal detectors or within an old low grade alluvial patch. I have not wavered one iota the last three years.
What I said above -and in many previous posts is that IF Novo prove several million ozs the area that would have to be strip mined would equate to hundreds/ thousands of sq km.
So work on the grades being touted -depth of mineralisation and then calculate how many sq km just for several millions ozs needs to be disturbed - let alone resources of 5-10 million ozs to justify the present market cap.
Whichever way you cut it it's just laughable - the hyenas on CEO cant even use a calculator.
For my money I figure Hennigh is hoping to find high grade resources that can be mined in an enviromentally acceptable manner. And we are doing our bit -I have had geologists and helicopters on the job at Nullagine and Karlawinda the last two weeks -and I dont have $50 million in the bank. I have even discussed conglomerate gold / alluvial strategies with top geologists I have the honour of working with -with years of experience in the Pilbara.
Everyone I know -bar none -have tried to talk some sense into Hennigh and get him to embrace bulk sampling -trial mining during which I would be the first to trial ore sorters complementing gravity circuitry --but he wont listen. Everyone bar none now admit the SGS debacle could have been avoided - that trial mining should and still could be implemented on Exploration Licences but he wont listen. There are tremendous synergies that could be put into place but he has a tin ear.
I am consistent - I have said all along that the potential for rich horizons in the conglomerates is possible -like the huge conglomerate horizons under Mt Roe Basalt at Kangan. What I dont accept is Hennighs methodolgy.
Stay tuned -I am a serious player mate ! And my horn is as fearsome as ever-
