RE:Quick questions for the pros I'm not sure where the comment of a "difference" in relative risk comes from. RR is the chance that one event happens over another. I'm not familiar with comparing RR from different components of a study.
Now 18% sounds good but a skilled promoter can twist the sh*t out of statistics to make anything sound good
IE: Drug X shows a 50% reduction in death. (Sounds Great!!!)...
Here's the stats...Death From Drug X 1%....Death from from Drug Y 2%
Not much difference...1% vs 2%.... but it's 50%...or 100% if you'd really sleazy...
