RE:RE:RE:RE:Weighting in portfolio. Thanks as always for the kind words Ham! I’d like to weigh in on the “Canada timing” story for a minute. I think it’s a cute story with The Score being a Canadian Company and all and I’m positive Canada will legalize at some point in the next year or so. However, Canada still remains a very small piece of a humongous pie compared to the numbers south of the border. In Canada gambling is controlled provincially through lottery corporations which have total control and will tax the revenues to death making it very difficult for an independent sportsbook to operate. So as you can see I’m a little optimistic but not overly excited!
The exciting part for me is the Penn National deal which of course we all know about and are eagerly waiting for it to come to fruition but most importantly the Fengate deal which has been misinterpreted as a bad loan by some. The Score could have got money anywhere but chose Fengate because it’s a strategic partnership which will open the doors for the Score Bet in Vegas. For many investors this partnership was quickly discarded not knowing that Fengate owns the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
As always good luck my friends! I’m looking forward to a green week with hopefully some encouraging news in the pipeline......
