Kitco: Can gold shake off downward pressure next week?

Kitco: Can gold shake off downward pressure next week?Ok... next week is now this week and i am wondering with all the rest of you just how low will we go with the price of Gold bullion as it greatly magnifies what will happen to Gold miners share pricing. This writer brings up a few good points (but we are the ones who face the reality of Eldorado dropping more) so i'm sharing to better inform you and to remind you that you are not alone as a shareholder... Cheers to all patient investors.

Can gold shake off downward pressure next week? by Anna Golubova:

Highlights:
"This week showed that gold has a strong floor at $1,450 an ounce, which is protecting the metal from a bigger selloff. Gold was holding its ground solidly above the $1,460 an ounce on Friday despite rallying stock market...."

“Equity futures breaking out to the upside and every time you get discussions that the U.S.-China trade agreement is making some progress there is a knee-jerk reaction and the gold market sells off,” RJO Futures senior market strategist Phillip Streible...."

"Capital Economics is still pricing in gold to end the year at $1,500 an ounce level."
