Ore Sorter

Ore SorterJust came across this video (preseted by Graeme O'Neill, CEO of Bayhorse/BHS at a recent presentation at the Cambridge Huse Silver&Gold Summit). Even though the sorter is for silver. It gives theri experiences with  a sorter.
- Cost ~$1M installed, presumably USD, for an Steinert sorter, 40T/day
- Material reduction is high, 200 T become 15 T (less than 10% of original tonnage. The rejected material would be sent back into the mine (back filling).
- Because of the small tonnage they don't need a large mill and heavy equipment to move stuff for downsteam processing.

RNC (and others such as WM) should consider a sorter as part of their processing strategy. With an investment of $2-2.5M they can get a Steinert (or a Tomra) to increase their grade from BH (similarly for Baloo, get another one for the pit as well, and dump the unwanted/uneconomical stuff back to a convenient place, could be inside the hole where the ore came from).
