Alternate Symbol(s):  ZPTAF | T.SGY.DB.B

Surge Energy Inc. is a Canada-based oil focused exploration and production (E&P) company. The Company's business consists of the exploration, development and production of oil and gas from properties in Western Canada. It holds focused and operated light and medium gravity crude oil properties in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, characterized by large oil in place crude oil reservoirs with low recovery factors. It offers exposure to two of the five conventional oil growth plays in Canada: the Sparky and SE Saskatchewan. It holds a dominant land position and is drilling a mix of horizontal multi-frac and horizontal multi-lateral wells in the Sparky area. Sparky is a large, well established oil producing fairway in Western Canada. SE Saskatchewan is a focused operated asset base with light oil operating netbacks. SE Saskatchewan operates low-cost wells with short payouts and offers potential for continued area consolidation.

Farmboy, I place blame on this disastrous energy situation squarely on our federal leader for sitting on his hands and taking no action. The exodus of businesses, foreign investment and falling tax revenue has rocketed since Trudeau came in. The time for leadership is now, I feel for everyone in AB.

Having said that, there is an article on CBC.ca that speaks to this problem being hatched by American environmentalists back in 2008, so Trudeau is the one having to deal with it now, but it started brewing under previous leaders.

The whole country is becoming divisive, the Don Cherry fiasco. What a shame, and Ron McLean? I'm not watching him any longer either. I thought he was a loyal friend to Don, guess not. Don spoke what he saw, no one was wearing a poppy, no more, no less. Times are changing.....I remember watching "All in the family", remember Meathead, Edith, Archie?, people need to relax.

Thank you Dunworkin for that!
We here in my part of N.S. fully agree with what you have said. The folks that I work with, wish I could say but I can't, and my old timer hockey buddies all agree that Don got screwed over because of some lame azz political correctness clowns!
