RE:RE:RE:Headwinds=opportunity MM, - "So it's not clear to me how TGZ can bite off Massawa, unless Barrick agrees to take back a large chunk of TGZ shares as compensation for the property."
I think the Massawa Barrick thing is a major distraction, it just complicates things are this stage, there are just too many questions at this point. I do not think it helps move the price up at this stage, it might in fact do the opposite with all of us wondering how they pay for it and what integration looks like. Barrick is a major for a reason and so they are not going to simply hand it over at a fat discount because TGZ has a mine in the vicinity. I also think they must be having some second thoughts on off loading the asset given the recent rise in the GP. I think it's more smoke and mirrors than reality.
At this moment in time they are well on track to reach 500,000 ounces within the next 3-4 years assuming Golden Hill is the next mine and they certainly seem like they are building that case. That in itself justifies a significant growth.
Now if only gold can reach the 10,000 dollars I saw several odd looking pundits suggest, all my dreams can come true and TGZ will hit $25-50 a share. I am already putting a deposit on the new tesla roadster given that bullish prophecy! (BTW, this last paragraph is BS and my weird sense of humour coming through)
