RE:RE:Chorus Aviation Capital Louera 5 A220-300 à Air BalticA.Oehler its not very exciting news but something which gets noticed in the industry. Early in the c series program only airlines were buying the airplane. No lessor were buying them. When leassing companies buy and lease back airplanes it validates to the industry that there is a market for such an airplane. Leasing companies only buy marketable airplanes so that if airline A is done with using them then the leaseing company can lease them to airline B. The fact that Chorus is doing it is big as this is there first a220. Other leasing companies have also signed up for a220 now. So slowly market is accepted the a220. Look at a320 it took them good decades and a half to make it big. Similarly look at a380 not alot of lessors signed up and now its going from airlines to scrap yard.
