Companies who dealt with such issues in the past have sometimes been buying opportunities provided that the management did a good job  and resolved the problem. He seems not to be deep in the material and did not know about Didipio and Wahihi.

Really a lot stuff and bullshit which is posted here.

From a chart point of view, OGC overdid a head and shoulder formation and has reached some support lines. The stochastic RSI, Momentum and MACD all are in the buy zone. I guess the selling climax has been seen, and that we soon will see a technical bounce back up to 2,90 or 3 CAD, without any news.
