LA autoshow VW grabbed serious attention
LA autoshow VW grabbed serious attentionI was disappointed with Mustang. It look like average sport car (no one of those new Mustang's WOW), it is very expensive, limited quantity. Sport car should be original an more or less affordable to be in mass production.
VW, on other hand, is a big surprise. They choose risky strategy, go after family market elegant and conservative look, very practical, not too speedy (I guess to get more miliage), but usually stunning for ev acceleration. They try to live up to their name, will see what happens. VW do not go after "cool" but after 90% of the market, it will be up to price and markeing.

2022 production and sale in all 50 states.
2022 is getting repetitive, sounds like take off year.
VW ID3 are months from production (will be sold in Europe), they manage to cut cost by 40% compare to e-Golf.
They plan to sell EVs in 2023 for $23K
By that time Tesla will be manufacturing in US, China (just started) and Europe.
Now it is a race between 3 Tesla, VW, and China. The rest just testing the water.
Competition is on and it is good for us.
