RE:Stop Predatory Short Selling ! Copied from Another Board Good article Thor6570, I agree what it said and I have signed.

I shall also point out that some have multiple account and use it to sell or buy to manipulate the price up and down hiding under Anonymous and other broker account.

They use spoofing all the time.

Here are some example (way) of manipulating the market:

Spoofing is an illegal form of market manipulation in which a trader places a large order to buy or sell a financial asset, such as a stock, bond or futures contract, with no intention of executing. By doing so, the trader—or "the spoofer"—creates an artificial impression of high demand for the asset.

On Wall Street, spoofing is defined as when a trader places a bid or offer on a stock with the intent to cancel before execution. Layering is a more specific form of spoofing. Layering is when a trader places multiple orders that he does not intend to execute

What it is: Quote stuffing occurs when traders place a lot of buy or sell orders on a security and then cancel them immediately afterward, thereby manipulating the market price of the security. Manipulating the price of shares in order to benefit from the distortions in price is illegal

Layering (finance) ... Layering is a strategy in high-frequency trading where a trader makes and then cancels orders that they never intend to have executed in hopes of influencing the stock price. For instance, to buy stock at a lower price, the trader initially places orders to sell at or below the market ask price.
