Company strategy From my research of this company, I’m not sure about the reason for a complaint in the post below about management not doing enough exploration or just writing research reports. They appear to acquire new projects on a regular basis and then proceed to do the needed preliminary work to see if further exploration is warranted, without depleting the treasury.
There is a balance between acquiring new projects to prove up and deciding when to terminate existing ones, and I believe this company does a good job in that regard. Of the hundreds of properties available to explore, only a handful will be economical to mine in the long run as a result of any company’s exploration efforts. Management seems to respond to inquiries quickly, so shareholders aren’t scrambling to have their questions answered.
Based on what I see with Pac Ridge and their ongoing research and acquisition, low share count, good cash flow from their optioned property, and full ownership of all existing projects (two reverted back to 100% this year), I believe that I will stay here for a while to see what turns up.
