RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Hmmmmm ... Titan Minerals Halted in AustraliaAnother , probably unlikely, possibility:

If  Titan were smart,  and of all the other words I and others have used in the same sentence as Titan : Cheats, liars, swindlers, criminals, murderers (maybe just attempted so far),  (and those are just the family friendly words) smart doesn't look quite right.  But I think we can give them clever, in the way scam artists can be.

Anyway, a clever thing for them to do  would be if their backers , debt holders,  'investors?' , are getting a little nervous, impatient, doubting, etc. ; and the debt holders don't want to roll over the  $3 m US debt, then Titan should be getting nervous that the share price of Core is languishing at 25 cents (on a good day, and at almost no volume).  If it stays there then the debtors look like they could take the Core shares, and anything Titan has that might have value (um, can't think what that would be). And Titan would figure out that what is holding down the shre price is them, and their stupid offer.  I would certainly be buying more here, if it wasn't for that lingering fear that Titan will somehow possibly prevail, a fear born of the initial merger attempt when they almost did. Even tho now that is by all logic etc. impossible.

So if Titan killed the offer, I could see Core's share price jumping at the first rumour of a good and real offer.  Then fear would be replaced by greed, and  it's off to the races.
