Free Shares = Compensation .

For thoses who do not know many companies issue shares in lieu of salary or shares and a small salery while they toil away working long hours to built a company and improve sp value for share holders and manegment . Its a long grind and last time I looked nobody works for free in this industry . Share count is still reasonable and will just throw out this last thought . With the new share count a hostile takeover is now much move difficult so you could look at it from a stratigic point of view as Melinda stated shes in for the long haul and waiting on HC like the rest of us but hey that JMO.
