RE:TopDog is right
@Cider6000 respectfully, your suggestion that Glencore will "resell to the Chinese" is nonsense. Historically, there is little, if any evidence of GLEN operating like that. The only way KAT assets get to China is if KAT defaults (= read= GLEN allows KAT to default...) (and the recent GLEN mandated KAT RO answers that question squarely); their producing assets then go back to the State and Kinshasa holds new "auctions" for them. Never going to happen. This is the truth of the matter: in the main, GLEN doesn't necessarily want to own Mines or be Miners. In point of fact, GLEN has always only ever been a Trading House up until they bought Xstrata. No. GLEN buys Mines to CONTROL THE SUPPLY & PRICE & INHERENT TRADING PROFITS of the UNDERLYING COMMODITY. End of story. Glen has spent alot of time, money and energy locking up Co Supply Contracts and that is what they do. That is their bread and butter. To think they might sell those underlying assets out from under themselves is nonsense and flies in the face of the entire modus operandi of GLEN. These are my views only. Thanks for reading. PS: if you haven't already, I highly recommend reading "The King of Oil" by Daniel Ammann. It's the Marc Rich story and if you don't know who that is, mmm, you may then still have much reading yet to do, to fully comprehend who GLEN really are and what your investments in KAT might really mean. Cheers.
