RE:Detour vs vit

RE:Detour vs vit

I guess "THE Market" (let's call it as if it was one and unique) needs still clarification and waits that VIT is in full production to review the valorisation :

AISC at 750$ is not "proven" imo. And I think it depends how it is calculated. Nice explanations on the net but it looks like there could be interpretation about what kind of charges has to be included so not sure one AISC = another one AISC.

Then the notion of current cash coming in covering operational and sustaining cost isn't clear as well. What is taken into account, what not.

Then are we sure no new financing is needed. This is still an open question.

So in my opinion, this is the kind of situation where you can make a good return taking the related risk. And this is always about this two components : less risky the investment is, less return you should expect.

And let's not forget the whole market : Gold producers are defensive stocks and we continue to have a bullish market focusing on the good news or rumors and downsizing the current economical and politicals risks. POG is struggling a little bit so not helping.

I haven't checked but it is time to compare VIT perf to peers in the next couple of weeks/months.

I would not sell VIT now. Too late not to go to the finish line with Eagle. Too early not to wait for Nuggets exploration program.
