RE:RE:Orphan wells.Good question. Energy sector has been unfavorable the last few years. Climate change/ green initiative have been the main topic latetly. Not good for us.
A lot of companies went bust leaving thousands of abadoned wells (orphan wells). Someone has to deal and pay for remidiation.
Companies like Essential could take advantage of both energy sector and climate change initiative programs.
Current provincial and federal governments are talking about it but not doing anything about it. Still hoping funding be approved for Orphan wells remidiation.
Put people to work, clean the environment up. Win win for everyone.
At least I'm banking on it.
I know "Climate Change" been giving me grief. We have to deal with it and the energy sector. Let's put people back to work and find common groud for both the energy and and climate change.
Let's work together and make this country one to invest in again.
