RE:RE:Catalyst wanted $18 got 75 cents - go team Absolutely right 99. Hbc also doesn't have a short and distort campaign driving the stock down complete with multiple bags of dirty tricks (according to cbl info circ on sedar) with the objective of maximizing short and/or buying the company for pennies. Instead we've got the opposing side to catalyst mounting a scare campaign and a woefully inadequate take private bid. Too bad we will never know who was leading the short and distort at cbl. Maybe Eddie knows. Maybe nobody cares anymore. One thing is for sure ..... catalyst and baker know exactly what they are doing. I don't think anyone believes catalyst will buy control of hbc or take it private. What they will do is force baker to pay up, or draw in another bidder. Either way, baker's lowball bid is thwarted.
