RE:Ignore or keep for humour??Hah. exactly again John30. Yield complainers would simply avoid ALA thinking they are
smart but as you astuteley point out, they have ignored the capital gains potential entireley.
I'll take a lower yield any day if I can achieve a higher rate of total return. I'm not saying to
put your whole portfolio into ALA, but there's nothing wrong with putting a decent percentage
into something which is set up for a high total return IMO. I have many higher yielding stocks
in my portfolio than ALA, but I think ALA is a nice compliment to the others despite all the
drama that it has gone through. One thing for sure is you won't have to worry about further
cuts in the dividend and can anticipate some raises as time goes along.
