As a holder of zero shares,I continue to watch this company closely with an eye toward a possible buy based upon how this evolves.
To clarify a couple of things, resultant of the naivety of many of these board posters.
One, in all liklihood Rich Geruson and the remainder of the boarrd of directors do not receive a "salary". In most cases, the BoD member will receive a payment based upon their participation in meetings or other tasks, and a per diem for travel and travel expenses.
Two, I would be extremely surprised if Rich Geruson or any of the other Directors are at the AGM. Unless, of course, one of them resides in the vicinity. I would expect them to be listening in via conference call or by visual electronic means. Why? Cost of transport, cabs, accomodation, meals, incidentals.
This meeting will be a summary of current finances, project updates, and the expected way ahead. A canned presentation as well.
If any valuable information is to be gleaned for the investor, it will come out of the questions being asked by those in attendance. If no questions are asked, expect very little new information to be provided.
I will also say this, perhaps a little out on a limb: Do not expect the DoubleTake to make any money for the company. It is an expensive piece of gear that will certainly sell, but I do not expect mass adoption. A new name, a new idea. It will take time to gain traction, if ever. The real money will be made in ALLIS and other downstream uses of the lens optics. I believe they are following through on the DT simply because so much money has been spent on it thus far. It was the pet project of the brothers, and in fact almost sunk the company entirely. So, I believe the focus at the meeting will be on ALLIS and other lens applications.
Someone should ask about patent status and expected timelines to approvals and the impact this will have on revenue stream timeline expectations.
Also, status of current finances and what is needed.
